The HYM430SPER is a low-maintenance, self-propelled petrol lawn mower with electric-start and rear roller, specifically designed for mowing stripes into your lawn.
The Hyundai HYM430SPER lawn mower is powered by an impressive Hyundai 139cc / 3.7hp OHV economical petrol 4-stroke engine for quick and efficient cutting.
Self-Propelled Lawn Mower
With rear wheel drive, which is especially good for handling uneven terrain, this mower also features a self-propelled system where all you have to do is hold on and steer - no pushing required! Mowing has never been easier. The drive to the rear wheels on this self-propelled lawn mower is controlled from the rear-mounted handle control. All wheels use twin sealed bearings for long life and low resistance.
Electric-Start Lawn Mower
Fitted with a hard-wearing powder-coated steel deck for long life, the HYM430SPER features an electronic CDI ignition system and an easy push-button electric start as well as recoil backup for an effortless start each and every time you start your mower.
Roller Mower
This powerful mower is also fitted with a full width ribbed rear roller for creating a traditional striped British lawn that would even rival Wembley Stadium. This rear roller is split for easy turning at the end of each run.
430mm Cutting Width
With a cutting width of 430mm / 17", this mower is ideal for small to medium lawns and gardens.
For the perfect, tailored cut on your lawn, the HYM430SPER can be easily adjusted between its 5 different cutting heights - from 25mm to 75mm - by using a single height adjusting lever, giving you complete control over your lawn care needs.
The HYM430SPER's spacious 45L grass collector bag, featuring a high airflow plastic top with a level indicator to ensure maximum grass pickup, ensures that you'll spend less time having to empty the cuttings, reducing your overall mowing time.

Designed with your safety in mind, the HYM430SPER includes OPC (Operator Presence Control) technology that ensures the engine will not run if you let go of the handle.

The soft grip handles can also be folded forwards oven the main body for extra-compact storage to save space in your garden shed or garage.

I have only used this mower once but am very pleased with it so far.
It was delivered on time and well packaged, easy to assemble and prepare in approximately one hour.
Once the battery was fully charged and fuel system primed it started at the first attempt.
I found it easy to control, adequately powered and with an acceptable noise level.
My lawn is approximately 120 square metres and it mowed it in around half the time it took with my previous hover mower and a lot less effort.
Grass collection was excellent and emptying wasn’t necessary until it was finished.
The electric start is a great feature but will obviously increase the overall weight but since it’s got a roller and is sturdy I don’t think it’s an issue.
I would recommend this mower on my experience so far.
Very easy to assemble and a dream to use - so far I’m very impressed
I have used the mower once to cut three medium sized lawns which surround my property. The resulting finish on still damp grass and the first cut of the year was very impressive. I think I will need to gain experience as the mower is quite quick and finessing the ground speed on short lengths around borders within the lawn and at some edges was tricky as the power was being utilised in a quick on/off fashion. Longer cutting runs were much easier albeit brisk compared with my previous 4 wheeled manual push petrol rotary.
Only used this a couple of times so far and it all works well. Unpacking and assembly is straight forward. Engine oil is included. I was after a mower with a roller and this one works well. There's quite a weight difference between this and my old Webb non roller mower even though it's power driven it takes a bit of heaving to turn it around. The electric start is fantastic and well worth the extra. You have to charge the battery for five hours, it doesn't self charge but its easy to plug in and charge, for I imagine multiple starts. I've already managed to put some modest stripes in a not to good lawn. All in all I'd recommend this for the price.
Great service from the start, great product easy to use , and would recommend to anyone , Will be ordering again at some point.
