A robust chainsaw with a well made bar. With a new chain cuts through trees with ease. The only issue I’ve had is cold starting. Hopefully it will improve as the saw is run in.

Saw works great starts withing two pulls every time, would have gave 5 stars but my only problem with the saw is the chain tension mechanism is pretty flimsy other than that it was worth every penny.

I don't use a chainsaw often, but I had a few trees to fell and my old Husqvarna needed repair, so I bought this. It arrived very rapidly, it was easy to assemble and it started on the 3rd pull.
It's a tad heavier than my Husqvarna, but it's well balanced and it does not feel unwieldy. It's much more powerful than my previous saw and it cuts really fast.
I have only 1 neutral comment: the chain brake feels slightly flimsy, but works well.
I am very pleased with it and would recommend it to others. Cheap and cheerful!

Extremely well presented and a great entry level tool at a tiny price in comparison with its competition ,which might i remind you are giants in the tooling world such as sthil , husquirvana etc.
So for the price of this little gem you are getting huge bang for your money.

I am delighted with my new Hyundai 20" petrol chainsaw. It has 62 cc easy start engine, it cuts very easily and quickly. I also like the easily removed engine cover, it is taken off by simply releasing two clips. It comes with a good hand book and tool kit. The box also had two chains so I would have a spare chain as well. Thank you very much, I shall pass on my pleasure to others.

Haven’t used the chain saw it looks good so hopefully it will do its job

Good quality product

I chose the Hyundai Petrol Chainsaw HYC6200X because I have owned 3 Hyundai cars and have had a good experience of the brand so far.
The HYC6200X is no different, like the cars, it is well put together, & competitively priced. It arrived via next day carrier, everything was in the box, instructions were clear and the Hyundai videos on the the subject were excellent.
I have used it now to cut some fairly large logs, so can confidently say it is just what I wanted.
My advice would be to always follow product safety advice with a product like this and watch a number of videos on the use of chainsaws.

Early days indicate thos os going to be a really useful tool & great buy - I've used it twice to date. Instructions were clear & it's easy to use!
Only slight downside was the sharpening file in the toolkit was broken on receipt.

Works well and does the job l bought it for.Runs well it suits me at 78 I don't need anything playing up would certainly recommend.

Great piece of kit. Feels sturdy and made well, starts easy and cuts like a knife through butter. Great value too.

Ordered and received 2 within 48 hours. came with tools and a petrol mixer bottle for 2 stroke oil. Also received two chains and a bar. Assembled easily. The only issue was I underestimated how much force to use when releasing the brake. But once I released the break the cover came off easily to fit the bar and chain. Followed the instructions to start the motor and it started with no problems. Really pleased so far great value looking forward to seeing how it performs after I've done some trees. So far so good.

I purchased a HYC6200X chainsaw in 2022 to deal with a fallen 16+m beech tree, some 90cm dia at the base, so it was a hefty job, beech being a hard wood. I chose the Hyundai as it was advertised with an Oregon chain and I didn't expect too much, it being a budget chinese saw, believing that if it completed that one job, then it's earned it's keep. However, it worked very well, the chain stayed sharp and produced chips and not dust and required sharpening, as expected (but not excessively), a few times. The saw had sufficient power for the size of bar and the job in hand. The job was completed over a couple of summers. It's also been used on other occasions when I considered my smaller Jonsered chainsaw outclassed.
It finally failed in summer 2025 cutting through a similarly sized ash and on investigation it appears the flywheel (keyed) shaft has rotated within its supporting crank web by some 120 degrees, thus putting the ignition timing out - a most unexpected cause of failure but I had been working the saw hard and it may have overheated or perhaps the chain had become wedged and suddenly stopped.
A replacement crank is on order with the supplier (all of £15!) and I expect to have it running on receipt. I would have replaced the piston/cylinder but the kit is not available at present.
The only gripe is the 'springy' recoil starter action - can' t seem to get a decent pull on the cord but it does start without too much bother.
Overall, for the cost, I've been very pleased with the chainsaw and the fact that spares appear to be available is a real bonus. I consider it has performed above my expectations and it's cheaper now than in 2022!

If your thinking twice to buy this product DON'T. This chainsaw won't disappoint. The blade is still sharp after a lot of use.You also get a spare blade plus a file to sharpen it.Easy to start .powerful enough to fell even big trees.

My first attempt at chainsawing. Easy to set up - thanks to youtube. Easy to start. Seems up for the job and should pay for itself with a tree removal.

Amazing chainsaw for the money. Bought as backup for a Stihl but tbh this one is better! Made short work of some fallen oak trees. Haven't found any negatives. Starts easily and cuts anything you throw at it. Just a brilliant piece of kit.Delivered quickly with all the accessories you would need.

It’s a great saw for the price.
It does the job no problem so don’t hesitate to buy one as it’s easy to start and has loads of power. I use a Stihl ms180 normally but it’s in the shop being fixed (15years old) so bought this in the interim.This new chainsaw is more powerful then my other chainsaw and cuts through 12” logs no problem. My only comment would be that the chain brake is only hinged on one side so it’s really flimsy and not solid at all. If used constantly it will just snap eventually. It needs to be hinged both side like a Husqvarna or Stihl and it would then be a much better machine but other than than that it’s a great chainsaw. And for what I paid it’s a no brainier. Buy one and see for yourself.

Quite easy to assemble, a little tricky to initially start it but each time becomes a little easier.

It's definitely a very good competitor against the top German manufacturer, only problem is getting the chain and guide bar cover back on. It starts very easy, and it cuts well, a few times whilst sawing, my hand knocked the on/off switch, switching the machine off whilst operating it, which was a little annoying. But marks out of 100 I'd give it 90 👍👍
