The DHY6000 / 8000 series of diesel generators are built to last and provide reliable standby power to your premises. As with any machinery this can only be achieved if your diesel generator receives the correct maintenance. You should closely follow the instructions on the table below to maintain performance and improve longevity of your generator.

You should ensure that you carry out the essential checks every day when using your DHY6000 / 8000 diesel generators, which includes:
- Checking and refilling the diesel
- Changing the engine oil
- Checking and re-filling the engine oil
- Checking for oil leakage
- Check and tighten fastening parts
All other diesel generator maintenance should be performed at 20, 100, 500 or 1000 hour intervals. Refer to the table below for specifics.
