Satisfied for my application

Great mains electric chainsaw. Light, comfortable ergonomic grip and good to look at. Where it loses a star is the "Soft Start" idea. Every time one engages the safety button and start button, the saw starts at approximately quarter speed? Until the wood is engaged and it obviously senses a load on the motor. Then the motor controller supplies full current. On top of that, as one completes a cut on a supported log, the chain speed is once again curtailed! Until you once again apply the now slower chain to the wood. A small gripe, but gets annoying when one is cutting a thin log for the fire and engaged in quite a lot of repetition. Another small annoyance worth bringing up is how the chain keeps coming loose. Even now when I feel the chain should be " run in." The chain on my petrol Husqvarna for example, runs a long time between requiring tightening. Appart from very new of course. All that said, this is still a good bit of kit for non-proffesional user.

The chainsaw was very easy to this is my first electric saw which was easy to set up. Plenty of chord supplied and cuts very well indeed. Love the ease of use and my neighbours aren't annoyed by loud 2 stroke engines anymore. I use it to cut firewood and can't see myself going back to petrol.

It's early days but have been impressed so far . You have to make sure the chain tension is tight after every cut otherwise the chain comes off.cuts very well. 👍

Used this chainsaw to take down a large tree in my garden. Very impressed with how quickly the whole process was completed with this power tool. Chain needed re-tensioning 3 or 4 times during the procedure (as mentioned in the instructions) but all went according to plan. Had to cut the base of the trunk up in sections where it lay as the saw would not go through it in one go but all is now completed. I have only had the chainsaw for a week so cannot comment on its reliability over a long period of time but I am happy that I bought it. Would recommend.

Wel done Hyundai, order arrived quickly and came Wel packed. Very easy to assemble, impressed with quality and length of electric cable. Very quiet in operation and brake is fantastic. One gripe would be quality of the chain supplied which could be better, hence 4 out of 5.

I have used chainsaws for many years, my company used to loan them out for home and garden work.
I have always been sceptical about using or buying an electric one. I borrowed one for a day.
I was impressed, so were my neighbours, much quieter when cutting, and no noise between cuts.
Now on to the machine.
It cuts very well indeed, the soft start makes ir safer to use.
Sturdy, powerful and gets the job done with no fuss.
Great for an 80 foot square garden, obviously you need an electric lead which impedes free roaming and you need to be conscious of the lead at all times.
Quick free delivery too.
One last point, make sure you buy chain oil before it arrives, because you will want to try it as soon as you get it.

I bought this after borrowing my son’s, it’s brilliant! It cuts really well and was easy to assemble out the box, it also arrived very quickly.

What a brilliant peice of kit, work fantastically and a joy to use.

The HYC2400E is simple to assemble and to use. It looks nicely made and it has some kind of variable power that is governed by the cutting load. To me it seemed strange at first but I soon got used to it and I like the soft start. On paper this saw is more powerful than my 1,500 watt petrol saw but it feels as if it cuts about the same. It is smoother, far quieter and easier to use. The catchy trigger might annoy me eventually.
Not sure about the delivery because the website sales page had me thinking that I was ordering in time to be eligible for next day delivery. It turned out that I wasn’t!

Good piece of kit for work at ground level. Plenty of power for a 16” saw
