Not as powerful as a mains trimmer but great that there’s no cord to fuss about.
As others have mentioned it’s top heavy and tiring to use.
The shoulder strap is of little or no use, in fact I removed it as it simply gets in the way.
The battery didn’t last for the duration of the trimming, that said it was a monster bush that I was attacking and the break during recharge gave my arms a rest.
For my ordinary bushes and hedges it should work adequately.
The construction seems solid enough and the cutting blades are sharp.
I would recommend this tool if you have arms like Arnold Schwarzenegger, or you’re on a body building course!

Good appliance only disappointed that you have changed the battery therefore my existing batteries do not work with this

Quite heavy to use in extended position. The cutting gap was only 15mm 20 would have been better.

Fantastic bit of kit, not too heavy, quiet in operation and cuts through the hedge well, battery lasts too with a way to check what power is left in the battery. I did move the strap fixings further up the pole to get a better balance. I would recommend this.

Lightweight with plenty of power and nice and quiet. Build quality is good and easy to use. Battery life is good. Overall an excellent long reach hedge trimmer.

There is no doubt it is a heavy piece of equipment but the functionality will suit our needs. I am a female senior and have used the trimmer to good results.

The device is well built and the Trimmer does what it says on the box and as contained in the instructions. The '4 Star' making (rather than 5) was for two reasons; when fully extended the very heavy weight of the cutting head requires much strength to operate. Also I thought the Trimmer was broken when it ceased to function but there is a tiny safety button on the shaft, which must be compressed by a plastic 'sleeve' to maintain the power supply. Now not a problem. Otherwise all OK and fit for purpose.

The first thing you will notice is the quality. It is extremely well-made and fits together perfectly as you assemble it . Follow the instructions which are very easy to read. I've used this 3 times over the winter months and it copes well with trimming and cutting a long Beech hedge at about 8ft height. It's the perfect length and can be extended. You need to get used to all the weight being on the end of the pole, so I've balanced it against my waist / hip otherwise it could put some strain on your upper back or shoulders. I haven't yet used the supplied strap. It copes well with most branches with a cutting width of 16mm, but any thicker branches can be cut with lopper pruners. Some hedge trimmers go up to 18mm cutting width, but for the quality and the price I don't think you'll find a better machine. The battery easily lasts long enough for an hour or so and by then you've done enough! Overall I am very pleased and would rate this product as excellent.

Easy to order, quick delivery and a good piece of kit. Unfortunately our skill level isn't matched to the machine but it's fairly easy to use. Not bad for the money.

I haven’t used the tool as yet but will in my new house as the garden is overgrown with tall shrubs, bushes and trees. From the reviews I have read this tool meets my requirements to do a great job.

Easy to setup. Good length for my lilac trees. Not as light as I thought but able to get the garden tidy. Cuts very well. Harness not very practical but useful. Would benefit with an adjustable D handle making it easier for use. Otherwise I’m very pleased with the tool. I also have a Hy20cht hedge trimmer which is first class.
