The HYM530SPE is a petrol self-propelled lawn mower from Hyundai with electric push-button start. With a powerful Hyundai IC225VE Euro 5 224cc engine with low fuel consumption, it is ideal for medium to large-sized lawns.
For the perfect, tailored cut on your lawn, the HYM530SPE can be easily adjusted between its eight different cutting heights - from 25mm for super smooth to a 75mm option if you’re trimming rougher ground or doing a first cut - by using a single height adjusting lever, giving you complete control over your lawn care needs.
Self-Propelled Petrol Mower
With rear wheel drive, which is especially good for handling uneven terrain, this mower also features a self-propelled system so all you have to do is steer - no pushing required! Mowing has never been easier.
Electric Push-Button Start
The HYM530SPE features an electronic CDI ignition system and an easy push-button electric start as well as recoil backup for effortless starting each and every time you start your mower.
530mm Cutting Width
With an extra-wide cutting width of 530mm / 21", this mower features our largest available cutting width and is ideal for larger lawns and gardens, or for those wanting to save considerable time when cutting smaller lawns.
The HYM530SPE's extra-large 70L grass collector bag features a high airflow plastic top with a level indicator to ensure maximum grass pickup. As it's so large, it also means you'll spend less time having to empty the cuttings, reducing your overall mowing time. It also features a mulching option, where you can choose to return fine grass clippings to your lawn to keep it green and healthy during the summer months.
Safe and Easy To Use
Designed with your safety in mind, the HYM530SPE includes OPC (Operator Presence Control) technology that ensures the engine will not run if you let go of the handle.
With minimal assembly required and 600ml engine oil included, you can be up and running in minutes to get that first cut on your lawn done as quick as possible!
After use, the underneath of the deck can be quickly and easily cleaned by connecting your garden hose and swilling the bottom of the deck with water.
The soft grip handles can also be folded forwards oven the main body for extra-compact storage to save space in your garden shed or garage. It even comes with a cup holder to hold that all important ice-cold drink in the summer to keep you cool and comfortable whilst mowing.

Delivered within 3days, easily assembled,manual gives clear instructions on how to put together. Starts easily runs smoothly cuts and collects cleanly. Very pleased with it.

I don't know what you want here
Disappointing to discover that there is not a bung underneath to enable oil change. I should have been supplied with a kit in the circumstances, and it should have been included in the price. I had to order and purchase one from a motor factor as my supplier/stockist didn't have one, and tried to convince me I was mistaken about the lack of bung. I am very pleased with the mower otherwise

A quality mower at a great price
I bought this mower to replace an ageing Mountfield that had done great work for nearly 20 years, so did some research and the Hyundai 530 SPER came out a clear winner, both on price, extra functions and of course reviews like the one I’m writing now. I purchased this machine in February so it’s only now that I feel qualified to offer a review of the mower as I’ve had a few cuts of the lawns now summer is here. To start with the mower was so easy to put together and it was delivered within a couple of days of ordering, within about 10 mins it was assembled and as per instructions the battery was on charge, once charged up and the machine was fuelled and oil filled I pressed the start button and hey presto fired up within a second or two and that has been the same since then, being 60+ it’s great to be able to stop the mower anytime and then just hit the button and it fired back into life so so much easier than the pull cord system. I have two quite large lawns and the size of this machine makes it an easy and more importantly a pleasant task, with the roller at the rear it gives that typical striped effect we all want, nearly Wimbledon look I’d say!! It also has a hose attachment so you can rinse the cutting deck without having to tip it over and risk petroleum and oil going every where. Another great feature is the easy to use raising and lowering mechanism unlike other mowers just one handle to raise and lower the Plato right and you’re off, no messing about raising front wheels etc. All in all a fabulous mower, good looking, well built, great features and backed up by Hyundai, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it 5 star plus all the way!

Lawnmower was easy to set up. Works efficiently We now have it six weeks excellent replacement product. Great cutting settings. Highly recommended

Hyundai HYM530SPE
Excellent machine. Assembly simple. Operation as easy as any machine I have had. Results outstanding. Possibly a little noisy. Ear muffs will resolve that. Service from Genpower outstanding. Ordered Friday pm delivered Tuesday in excellent condition. Overall (after just one day) extremely happy.

nice features
bought this mower mower last year and has some really nice features for the money compared to other brands such as the one central point height adjustment, electric start and hose connection. The only thing i do not like is how unreliable the engine is. takes a a few attempts to start with the electric start (fully charged) or pull cord, also the mowers back wheels have start to stick even though i clean regular, decent mower for the money though

Mows a 2 acre paddock without fuss and no effort
This is the best lawnmower I have ever owned. The wide cut and self-propelled drive make it cover the ground so easily. My 2 acre paddock used to take me mots of the day, with this laenmower I can do it in no time. Very powerful.

Great Machine
I was initially sceptical given the low price versus equivalent Mountfield etc but what a great mower. Really easy to assemble and cuts much better than my previous mower. Handle was slightly damaged on delivery and the customer support was excellent with a replacement part being despatched the following day. Definitely recommended.

Easy to assemble. Cuts evenly, even on a bumpy lawn with long patches of grass. Instruction book could be better.
